Nos complace anunciar la participación de Cristian Segura en esta Bienal, curada por Alfons Hug y Ticio Escobar con co-curadoría de Adriana Almada y Paz Guevara, que exhibirá obras de 72 artistas de cinco continentes.

Cristian Segura intervendrá algunos de los espacios públicos más relevantes de Curitiba: el Museo Oscar Niemeyer, la Praça Tiradentes, el Jardín Botánico y la Opera de Arame, así como también los aviones y ómnibus que conectan Curitiba y Porto Alegre, donde se realiza la 8va. Bienal del Mercosul con un proyecto especial de videoarte al que ha invitado a 14 artistas argentinos.

We are pleased to announce the participation of gallery artist Cristian Segura in the 6th Ventosul Biennial in Curitiba, Brazil. Curated by Alfons Hug and Ticio Escobar, co-curated by Adriana Alamada and Paz Guevara, this event brings together 72 artists from five continents.

Cristian Segura will present a project that encompasses interventions in several public spaces at crucial points in the city, questioning notions about public cultural institutions in Latin America, their fragility and relevance. He has also curated a program of video art from Argentina which will be shown on the flights and bus rides connecting Curitiba and Porto Alegre, where the 8th Mercosul Biennial currently takes place.
